We collect as little as possible. Here is exactly what, why and for how long.

Who is responsible
DroneTheoryPrep is a service of Witan (Netherlands Chamber of Commerce no. 42150633). Send privacy questions to info@dronetheoryprep.com.
When you visit the site
- No cookies. The site sets no cookies to track you. Even your language choice is kept in the address, not in a cookie.
- Server log. Our hosting provider TransIP (the Netherlands) keeps a technical log for security and troubleshooting, including your IP address. That log is kept for a limited time.
- Visitor statistics. To see which pages are read, we use Umami. Umami works without cookies and does not store IP addresses or other data that could identify you.
- Fonts are served from our own server, not from Google.
When you create an account or pay
Once this is possible, we only process what is needed: your e-mail address and name for your account, your answers and results to show your progress and reasoning errors, and payment details when you buy. Payments are handled by Stripe; we never see your card or bank details. Account e-mails are sent via Brevo. We have processing agreements with these parties.
How long we keep data
- Account data and results: until you delete your account, or at most 24 months after your last login.
- Payment records: 7 years, as required by Dutch tax law.
Your rights
You may view, correct or delete your data, or receive it as a file. Just send an e-mail; we reply within one month. If you disagree with how we handle your data, you can lodge a complaint with the Dutch Data Protection Authority (Autoriteit Persoonsgegevens) or the authority in your own country.
No selling, no profiling for others
We do not sell data or share it for advertising. The explanation of your reasoning errors is for you alone; no decision is attached to it.
